Calculate number cells depending on criteria

Question

Hi,&nbsp;&nbsp;I want to know how many cells are between my criterias. Ex: I want to know how many cells have a value between 1700 to 2200.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have tried a couple of formulas. Only seems to give me the cells that have 1700 or 2200 but not what is in between.&nbsp;&nbsp;What is the correct formula?

&nbsp;
=COUNTIFS(range, "&gt;=1700", range, "&lt;=2200")
&nbsp;
where range is the cell range in which you want to count these values.
