Bug: printer setup

Every time I open an Excel file, this (see attachment) pops up and I have to hit "cancel" or "ok" 10-15 times before it goes away. This happened after the latest Windows update. Switching my default printer solves the problem temporarily, but I need my regular default printer back. Please help!
