Blocking cells from going to the printer

I'm attempting to block certain cells from going to the printer, example j-22 thru j-41. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Brent

I'm not aware of an easy way to hide cells/ranges like this, however there are some resources which show some possible workaround that might help you such as using Condition Formatting.

    1. Essentially, under Conditional Formatting, create a New Rule and choose Use a formula to determine which cells to format.

    2. Put a formula in such as =$L$17="Vanish" and ensure that the formatting for the text colour is set to your cells background colour (e.g. White, or if highlighted that colour, etc). Click OK.

    3. Click into Applies to and select your desired cells to apply the formatting to (use CTRL to select multiple individual cells, ranges, etc).

    4. Press Enter. Click Apply and click OK.

    5. Try to change cell L17 and see how it works.

You can also see this resource for further ideas:

Sample file is attached. Hope that helps!
