Blank ribbon information
Whenever I open an Excel spreadsheet now, the usual ribbon containing all the shortcuts is blank. I have to click on the three dots to bring it up. How do I reset the system so my ribbon is always populated as I set it and always shows on any spreadsheet?
You're in full-screen mode.
Click the three dots, then click the little drop-down arrow on the right-hand side.
You'll see that 'Full-screen mode' is selected:
Select 'Always show ribbon' instead.
