Average values by Month-Year

I am currently trying to average values (column B) that have the same Month-Year (column C). I can't seem to get a formula to work. Normally I would use a pivot table but some of my spreadsheets have over 50 years of daily data and I will need to use the output in a percentile ranking. Picture below of the spreadsheet. Thank You
