Automatically resizing and moving workbooks.
Hello,
When I am juggling several documents on my monitor screen, the darned windows for excell or word will automatically resize and move off to the side. The new size doesn't leave a place to grab and move it back. I basically have to close down and start over. Very exasperating. How do I turn it off and just move things around as I want?

It sounds like you might be encountering an issue related to the "Snap" feature in Windows, where windows automatically snap to the edges of the screen or resize when moved close to the screen edges. To disable this behavior in Windows 10, follow these steps:
- Open Settings:
- Press Windows key + I to open the Settings menu.
- Go to System Settings:
- Click on "System."
- Access Multitasking:
- In the left sidebar, select "Multitasking."
- Disable Snap:
- Look for the option called "Snap windows" or "Arrange windows automatically by dragging them to the sides or corners of the screen." Toggle this switch to the "Off" position.
This should prevent Excel and other windows from automatically resizing or moving when you drag them close to the screen edges.
If the issue persists, you might want to check if you have any third-party applications or utilities running on your computer that could be affecting window behavior. Some applications, especially those related to window management or customization, might have their own settings that could interfere with how windows behave.
Additionally, make sure that your graphics drivers are up-to-date, as outdated drivers can sometimes cause issues with window management.
If you are using multiple monitors, also check the display settings to ensure that they are configured as you expect.
Remember to save any open work before making changes, and consider restarting your computer after adjusting settings to ensure they take effect. The text was revised with the AI.

Pressing the Windows key + 1 didn't get me to settings. Once I figured out how to get there, the rest of the directions worked. That is a big help. Thank you.
That's Win+I, not Win+1
