automatically add a footer and / or header

We require users to add the file location to the footer.  Most are basic users, and thus forget to insert the footer before sending the document.  Does Excel have an option to automatically insert a footer (or header) on every document?

    Hi Robert,

     

    Please find the attachment file.
    In this file, the footer will be inserted automatically with the full path of the workbook before a user saves the workbook!
    And this has been done by using a VBA code associated with the BeforeSave event!

    Excel has no built-in option to do that!
