Automatic Date Change

This will give the date of the Friday of the same week as the date in cell A1:
=A1-WEEKDAY(A1)+6
This will give the date of the Friday of the same week as today:
=TODAY()-WEEKDAY(TODAY())+6
If you have Office 365, then this is a bit neater:
=LET(d,TODAY(),d-WEEKDAY(d)-6)
This will give the date of the Friday of the same week as the date in cell A1:
=A1-WEEKDAY(A1)+6
This will give the date of the Friday of the same week as today:
=TODAY()-WEEKDAY(TODAY())+6
If you have Office 365, then this is a bit neater:
=LET(d,TODAY(),d-WEEKDAY(d)-6)
