AutoFit row height with wrap text not working on 2016 Excel

Merged cells is the source of many issues.
If you use Center Across Selection instead with Wrap text row will be automatically expanded
I have the same error and "Center Across Selection" didn't change anything. Also, I need it aligned left, not centered, so even if this had corrected the text wrap, it wouldn't have worked. Is there another solution?
You have asked the same question in four different discussions. That leads to confusion and duplication.
- Since this question is being asked repeatedly (not by me but by multiple other users), it seems Microsoft needs to work on this. I wanted to ask the question on each thread in case someone answered on one thread but not another. I apologize for the duplication.
