Autofill and Crosshair Cursor on Excel 16.38
I am using excel 16.38 on a mac and am trying to use the autofill feature, however, the crosshair cursor doesn't appear whether boxes are highlighted or not. How do I use the autofill feature with this version?

- If you don’t see the fill handle, it might be hidden. To display it:
1. On the Excel menu, click Preferences.
2. Click Edit.
3. Under Edit Options, check the Allow fill handle and cell drag-and-drop box.

Have you tried CMD + D to autofill?
You can try another workbook to see whether the autofill cross will be available or not
