autocomplete cells with names from another worksheet
Hi
Does anyone know it this can be done.
I need to complete a grid to allocate workers to tasks so i have my worksheets but need to know if i can have just 1 worksheet with names on and then autocomplete the names on the other sheets as i type
please be gentle still learning about excel

OK, being gentle, the task you've asked about--autocomplete from another worksheet--is possible (although the more accurate term would be that you'd be using "Data Validation" to create a dropdown list of the names, from which you'd pick the correct one (assuming these are all in the same workbook, just on different sheets within that single workbook)....
