auto row height when using sort functio
yes its already very wide. i just cant figure how to get the cell height to auto adjust to suit the relevant text
Start -> Format -> Adjust column width automatically or Adjust row height automatically
It is probably not what you are looking for.
But what exactly you are looking for is not understandable to me from the text.
Unfortunately, the translation doesn't help me either.
Therefore, I recommend that you insert a file (without sensitive data)
and explain exactly what you want to do with an example.
Thank you for your understanding and patience

a test spread sheet is attached, so text is entered into text entry tab, its then processed with if functions to bring only rows with the word open in the last cell, then i use the sort function to collate all cells with text in at the top and this is where i cant get the row height to auto adjust.
Thanks

Is there some way that the row height can be calculated automatically ???
For merged cells: NO
But there is only one way possible with VBA
You cannot create, run, or edit VBA in Excel for the web.

Would you like to automatically adjust the column width in your Excel sheet to the content?
Quick guide: Automatically adjust column width in Excel
Select the column that you want to adjust the width.
You can also select multiple columns at once.
In the "Start" tab, click on "Format" in the "Cells" area.
A menu opens.
Now select the item "Automatically adjust column width" under "Cell size".
The marked columns now adjust their width.
