Hi Can a cell be auto filled by Excel recognising familiar text used before in cells - How is this triggered. Can I enter "somewhere" the first few letters of several text words - then type this s...
When you enter text in cells in a single column, Excel will look at the cells above and suggest values as you type.
This only works (in general) if there are no empty cells in between the filled cells.
Another option is to create a list of frequently used words/phrases in a range, then use Data Validation of type List, with the list of words/phrases as Source.
