Auto fill colour in different sheets in excel
Is it was possible to link the cells of different sheets within the same workbook when using fill colors?
For instance: If I colored a cell on "sheet 1" the color yellow, is it possible to link that to a cell on a different sheet to also turn yellow at the same time?

Jennifer2265 If you don't have too many cells and colors you want to use, I would use conditional formatting (CF) based on some value (e.g. a number) that you put in the "first" cell. If you then link the "other cell" to the first one and apply the same CF, the other cell will mimic the format of the first one.
A simplified example is attached.
