auto change cell colour based on date

hi everyone, 

please help!I need the cell date to change to red text when the current date passes. 

If i put in a future expiry date, then when the date entered is now today or has passed, i need the text date to turn red so i know the date for that staff members certification has now expired. 

How do i do this?
