Appended tables and added column, does not match when refreshed.
Hello!
I have appended two tables in excel with the help of Power Query (reference video), then I added a column in the table with comments of each row.
When I refresh the data and new rows have been added in the table, the comments dont match the right rows anymore.
Power Query knows nothing about manually added columns, thus they are not in sync. You need to query again table with added columns an merge with source one. Technique is explained here Self Referencing Tables in Power Query :link:- Excelerator BI
