Anchoring fill colours

I have an excel sheet with groups of names and data, 4 players to a team.

I have every 4 rows filled with alternating colors, yellow and green.

I will be sorting data, maybe by random or maybe by age, etc. or I may just "cut" and "insert cut cells" to move players to a different place.

Is there a way of locking the cell fill colors so that the groups of first 4 players remain light yellow, next 4 light green, etc. no matter how I move players around?
