Allow removal of "Copilot Suggestions" from right-click menu
You can’t fully remove “Copilot Suggestions” from the right-click menu yet since it’s built into newer Windows updates, but there are a few things you can try. Make sure your system is updated because Microsoft sometimes tweaks these features in newer versions. If you’re comfortable with advanced settings, you can look into registry edits, though you should be careful with that. Another option is using third-party tools to customize or hide context menu items. For now, it seems like Microsoft is still experimenting with Copilot, so better control options might come in future updates.
Thanks for the reply! Just to be clear, this is in Excel, not Windows, so I'm assuming you meant future Office updates, right? Just making sure we are on the same page. I can disable copilot (mostly) in Windows. It's this new menu that I keep accidentally clicking on that's the issue. It's requiring me to relearn decades of muscle memory for a feature I do not want.
