Allow Only Certain People to Edit Specific Cells on Mac

I've seen several articles of how to password protect worksheets and how to manage lock/unlock of the cells within.  That is working fine.

 

I'm trying to allow only certain people the ability to edit specific cells, in Excel for Mac.  I want them to be prompted for the password and for it only to apply to them and not unlock the entire sheet for everyone.  it seems this can be done in Windows but I cannot find the feature in Mac, even using Command bar search.  can someone help me solve?
