Allow Edit Ranges

Hello to everyone,

I have a iusse with allow edit ranges function. 

What i want to do is to avoid certain people edit ranges/cells in a shared file.

 

For example:

 

I want mailto:Email address removed editing ranges A2:C2 and only this range.

I want mailto:Email address removed editing D3:F3 and only this range.


I've traied to allow a user in editing a selected range of cells without inserting a password and I've allowed myself in editing the cells lefted. The result is that both of us can edit tha ranges but doesn't work.

Someone knows how to realize this condition? Thanks

    Lock your sheet from all editing. Have the A2:C2 range come from a second sheet and the D3:F3 range from a third sheet.

    Password protect those sheets with different passwords, give one password to User A and the other to User B.
