"all the merged cells need to be the same size" during a Custom Sort

I'm trying to fix this same error now. Under the filter row, there are about 220 rows with no merged cells anywhere. I have used Find to iterate through all merged cells, and they are all above the filtering list (i.e., they are not part of the sort). This started happening 10 mins ago - I've been sorting this Excel sheet a lot.

I've tried removing the filter (Data > Filter), and re-applying the filter icons to the row.

So in other words, we need a way to override this error, or to tell the error that it's wrong.

THIS ERROR NEEDS TO GIVE US ONE EXAMPLE MERGED CELL (i.e. cell DR27) so we can go fix it.
