AI taking over Excel

Now that AI is becoming more & more advanced, are people going to use excel less than before now that AI can do practically everything that relates to computerized systems?

AI can definitely make Excel feel more approachable, but it still won’t replace the need to understand the data you’re feeding it. If you’re looking for a tool that adds AI assistance directly inside Excel or Google Sheets, check out ExcelAI.org. It’s useful for automating repetitive tasks and getting quick insights without mastering every formula.

AI might have the opposite effect, actually increasing usage of Excel: it makes it easier to use for those who don't know the basics.

It's not as though giving the right prompt to Pilot would end up with it--to take one example--doing the work of tracking all of my family income and expenses, categorizing them, etc. [I have a spreadsheet of my own design that does all that.] BUT, it would make it easier for me, if I didn't know how to design such a spreadsheet, to give the prompt to Pilot that would create--or help me create--such a spreadsheet. AI ain't, however going to do the work of importing all the data from bank and credit card companies....it'll help in initial design, in understanding procedure...but I still have some responsibility in the final analysis.
