Adding up total years of expierence
I have used the DATEDIF formula to create a table with multiple employees years of expierence. Is is possible to now add all of those years of expierence (in Year, Month format) together for a group ...
I'd add a separate column that returns the number of months using DATEDIF with "M" as third argument.
Let's say the results are in M2:M50.
Then use
=QUOTIENT(SUM(M2:M50), 12)& " Years, "&MOD(SUM(M2:M50),12)& " Months"
HansVogelaar just had to change the periods to commas to make 12 the dividing number and that worked perfectly, thank you!
