Adding custom color palette to excel Fill selection.
Excel does not provide a direct way to import custom colors from external sources, such as the pen color selections, into its color palette. The color palette in Excel is limited to the built-in theme colors, standard colors, and recently used colors, so far I know.
However, you can manually match the color using RGB values. If you know the RGB values for the "Galaxy" color or any other custom color you want, you can set it in Excel using the RGB color model. Here are the steps:
- Open the Fill Color Dialog:
- Select the cell or shape you want to fill.
- Go to the "Home" tab on the ribbon.
- Click on the "Fill Color" button (paint bucket icon) in the "Font" group.
- Choose More Fill Colors:
- In the Fill Color menu, click on "More Fill Colors" at the bottom.
- Set RGB Values:
- In the "Colors" dialog, go to the "Custom" tab.
- Enter the RGB values for your desired color.
- Click "OK" to apply the color.
If you're specifically looking to use the "Galaxy" color from the pen color selections, you might need to find or approximate its RGB values. You can use graphic design tools or online resources to find the RGB values of a color and then input those values into Excel.
