Adding a count to pivot table
Hello-
I have a varying number of the same library programs that happen each month. I made a Pivot Table that shows me the sum total of attendance at each type of program per month but I would also like to see how many times that program happened in a month. So if family storytime happened 4 times in January and 2 times in February I would have context for the difference in attendance numbers. I am new to Pivot tables but can't seem to find a way to see this information. I do know I can click on any value and see what data was used to get that but I was hoping for something all in one table. Thanks!

DMeininger Drag the "Program" field into the values area of the pivot table. Since it contains texts, Excel will default to Count.
