Add Note on iPad version

Sorry if this is a dumb or worn out question but...  Is there a way to add a note to a cell (not a comment) while using the iPad version of Excel?  I don’t use a mouse on my iPad so I have no way of knowing if it would be in the right click menu.  Comments don’t seem to attach to the cell the way that notes do, it’s just a running list with cell references, I need something attached to the cell.

Thanks,

Amy

Ajudlick I think they just got rid of the Notes function on the iPad version as they provide the capability to 'Convert All Notes' [to Comments]. I personally hate using Comments as I update the same document between several devices and each time I update a note, it will enter as a new comment and doesn't show the ability to Edit because it identifies me as another user when switching between devices. I hope Microsoft will bring back Notes to the iPad version.
