Add A Month Field to Pivot Table
First, move the date field to the Rows area.
Right-click any of the dates in the pivot table.
Select Group... from the context menu.
In the Grouping dialog, select Years, Months and Days.
Click OK.
This will add Years and Months to the Rows area.
Drag Years to the Filters area, then drag Months to the Filters area.
The user can then filter by year and by month.
