A simple macro question

I am starting to dabble with macros in Excel - I was a previous fairly proficient user of Lotus 123.  I want to create a macro that allows me to run it from where I place the cursor.  I've tried to play with the "Use Relative References" choice, but this either won't turn on (off) for me, or it doesn't make any difference.

Cheers,

David Tas

      Hi,

I'm just using the recorder.  I'm adding lines and formulas and new categories into a chart for each week of the year - therefore there are 52 of them.  I've always done my macros by recording the process once, then having it do it for me.  However, it seems to always want to start in the same cell, therefore it is doing what's already been done.  I can't it to do the one below.

I can bring what I believe is the code up, but it means nothing to me, unfortunately.

      Cheers, David.

      • Yeah, well, I'm asking you to post the code so I can help you change it to do what you want to do. I can't do that without seeing the code, especially if seeing the code means nothing to you. Post it and spend a few words on explaining what you want to achieve in context of the code.
