Theodore G Kapela I'm having difficulties understanding the layout of your data. However, using IMSUM is inappropriate. That function deals with complex numbers and can not be used for regular summation of cells.
Perhaps this one does what you need:
=SUM(F220,E221*E221>0,G221)

Riny_van_Eekelen , thank you for reply, but it does not work. I believe because date is also from an imsub. I can send you the excel file so you may see how it all fits together. I keep track of my solar and electric this way. email address removed for privacy reasons
