you could try with the SUMIFS function:
=SUMIFS('Attendance Tracker'!I:I;'Attendance Tracker'!B:B;valSelEmployee;'Attendance Tracker'!C:C;">="&TODAY()-365)
It takes always the current day ( TODAY() ) and subtracts 365 days.
