Remove MSP Admin Access to Tenant
We are having the same issue and the response from Microsoft was
"Good day! I trust this email finds you well and healthy.
I understand your concern regarding the deletion of your account, and I recognize that your existing CSP relationship is preventing you from proceeding. As per the official Microsoft documentation, we can break your relationship with them. However, I must inform you that due to recent internal updates, we no longer have the capability to break your CSP relationship on your behalf. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and I hope this information provides you with some clarification.
At this point, the best option is to wait until you hear back from your CSP reseller. I recommend contacting them again to inform them of your current situation and request their assistance. I appreciate your understanding as we navigate this process together"
So you are SOL if the MSP doesn't want to play ball
CSP Transfers are different than a CSP not providing admin creditials.
CSP transfers do require the current CSP to agree to the transfer when submitted to the Tier 1 provider (Source provider) by the new CSP.
MSFT will not step in to force the current CSP to release the contract even though financial responsibility to that contract transfers. I have seen 2 (not mentioning names) that deny every request to transfer, therefore we also will not approve any transfers from them ( Yes they are out there low balling pricing to get customers to change mid term, but have less than great support services )
