NCE enforcement - FROM SA promotion still renew in legacy CSP
With the auto migration from Legacy CSP towards NCE, Microsoft is moving all Legacy subscriptions towards NCE of course. These Legacy subscriptions will show "Auto renews on" if they auto migrate tow...

Some subscriptions are not eligible to migrate to NCE. For example, the documentation states that Partners with DEPR legacy offers can't purchase new subscriptions, but their existing subscriptions continue to function and renew - Migrate subscriptions to new commerce - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn
Over time, all subscriptions will be in NCE since Legacy will eventually go away, so keep an eye out for future migration announcements.

Hi Martijn, I do not think these legacy offers will migrate to NCE.
Some of our customers have legacy D365 promo offers and they are ineligible for migration to NCE.
Download your NCE Migrations report from the Customers page in Partner Center.
The MigrationEligibilityStatus column will confirm this.

That was a good one Nick, didn't check that yet. Checked the file and got this as reason:
MigrationEligibilityStatus | MigrationIneligibilityReasons |
Ineligible | Subscription [...] cannot be migrated to New Commerce because there is not a valid migration path for this offer yet. |
So these 'FROM SA FROM VL/DPL' subscriptions won't migrate towards NCE, as they are ineligible, and it doesn't state it won't renew.
So will they still renew in Legacy CSP with their promotion?
Seems like what Mikhail mentioned is correct then: "It sounds like some very old promos not eligible for migration & not in the CSP offer retirement guide can renew indefinitely, unless partner intervenes."
But this is kinda weird to me and does not correspond with: "Since managing [...] two platforms (legacy & NCE) is burdensome [...] Microsoft will begin migrating commercial legacy seat-based subscriptions to new commerce starting on the date of subscription renewal."
@licensingcongierge1; can you confirm the assumption of Mikhail? That these promotions can just renew indefinitely in Legacy CSP?

None of the documentation states that 'these promotions can just renew indefinitely in Legacy CSP'.
Over time, all subscriptions will be in NCE since Legacy will eventually go away, so it will not be possible to 'indefinitely' renew in Legacy.
