i have a Question FY26 Indirect reseller security score Can't access it.

I must say that I am a Distributor and my Partners do not have access to the Security page and I want to make sure that they can access it. From what I have found, it only says that it is enforced for direct bill partners, distributors (formerly indirect provider), and indirect resellers. Can you please update this because the FY26 document requires that you Complete the mandatory requirements of the Partner Center security score. Please provide clarity on compliance with the Security requirements.

Great question https://ftfe.beauty/ From what you’ve described, it sounds like there’s a gap between the FY26 requirements and actual access for indirect resellers. Since the documentation suggests enforcement for direct bill partners, distributors, and resellers, it would be best if Microsoft could clarify whether access for resellers is planned, or if compliance should be tracked through the distributor level. Clear guidance here would help ensure everyone meets the mandatory Partner Center security score requirements without confusion.

  • Woah thank you very much! I had same concerns 2 weeks ago and i'm glad to have found this topic. We will look forward for these changes as Indirect Resellers as we are.

As per the latest "Monthly update: Important actions partners need to take to secure the partner ecosystem" announcement posted on Sept 19, 2025 -

Security Workspace for Resellers - We’re excited to announce that Security Workspace will begin a gradual rollout to indirect resellers starting in October. This phased approach will ensure smooth experience, with initial access provided to a limited group and expansion to all resellers over the following weeks. Stay tuned for more details on timing.

I am being told that the Security Workspace is currently only visible to Direct Bill CSP partners and Distributors as of today.

Indirect partners can still complete the two requirements without needing to access the Security Workspace.

    • Enable MFA for all users - (done via Entra admin center)
    • Designate a security contact within Partner Center

I'm a distributor and facing the same issue my indirect resellers can't access the Security page in Partner Center. The FY26 requirements mention completing the security score, but access seems limited to certain partner types. Could you please clarify the access rules and update the documentation accordingly? This is important for ensuring compliance.

  • Here is the response from the team:

As a distributor, will I be able to view the security score compliance of my indirect resellers?

Yes. Distributors will have access to the security score compliance status of their indirect resellers, in the Reseller performance report in Insights. The report is expected to be updated and made available in the coming weeks. While no exact release date has been announced, this enhancement will provide greater visibility and support for compliance tracking across your reseller network.

How can an indirect reseller see their security score in Partner Center? Will indirect resellers get access to the Security Workspace?

Microsoft plans to enable access to the Security Workspace for indirect resellers in the coming weeks. While no specific date has been announced, this update will allow resellers to directly monitor their compliance with security requirements through Partner Center.

any update if this should now be already accessible for indirect resellers? Because at the moment I'm still unable to open the security center (which with my Security Role reader should be viewable?)
