Ending a reseller and MSP relationship
We had an inattentive MSP so we ended our contract with them in December of 2023. Unfortunately, this MSP is also listed as our MS365 reseller. I've been managing our system just fine without them ...
- Apr 25, 2024Hi Daryn, if you are concerned the current reseller will suspend your licenses you should switch to another reseller. If the licenses are annual, then you will incur a cost but at this time only azure subscriptions can be transferred between resellers.

In addition to the previous replies, you may also want to consider the following MS Learn Doc that Partners can find in Partner Center - Partner with indirect resellers in the Cloud Solution Provider program - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn

- Daryn_GuarinoApr 26, 2024Copper ContributorThank you for the response. My licenses are annual, so, as I think I understand it, if I move to another reseller, I will essentially have to pay another annual fee but the old MSP will finally be gone (which is great). It sounds most cost-effective to wait until the license comes up for renewal and then move to the new reseller at that time. How do I change resellers?
