Direct CSP Azure Margin
Hi, we are a Direct CSP and since the NCE/Azure Plan came into the picture, we're having a hard time tracking down our margin on Azure Consumption. Can someone point me into the right direction? ...

Hi @LicensingConcierge1, this is directly regarding the Direct CSP program and margins on Azure.

I meant that previously there was a basic formula to calculate margin. With changes that have happened more recently, that basic formula went away and now it's tied back to incentives/credits/etc., and I can't get a clear picture.
In other words, if we sell an MSRP of $100k of Azure this month, how much margin are we getting on that?

I would recommend understanding Partner Earned Credit (PEC) and how this applies against Azure subscriptions you provide as a Direct CSP partner to customers.
The billing reconciliation files have the details on a line by line basis if you wish to analyse it, including if PEC was applied to the Azure usage.

- The info in the following link explains how to locate and use the Azure calculator tool to estimate Azure usage- Estimate costs with the Azure pricing calculator - Microsoft Cost Management | Microsoft Learn
- If your organization has a MACC for a Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) billing account or an Enterprise Agreement (EA) billing account you can check your Azure commitment, including start and end dates, remaining commitment, and eligible spend in the Azure portal or through REST APIs. - Track your Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) - Microsoft Cost Management | Microsoft Learn
- Partners can log into Partner Center to find the Microsoft Commerce Incentives policy guide. Click on the Azure incentives tab, then Azure Consumption Incentives for the calculation. Use the scroll bar to find calculation examples.
