Retiring CSP SKUs

Regarding deprecated SKUs (not) migrating towards NCE, the CSP Offer Retirement guide from your source states what will happen: These subscriptions will expire, and if you as a partner don't purchase replacement SKUs in NCE, the service will be discontinued. There will be no auto migrate to NCE for deprecated SKUs.
At least, that's what the documentation says to me.
If subscriptions still show auto-renewal on, I expect that Microsoft just still needs to change that in Partner Center. As the enforcement to NCE only starts in January, so at the moment deprecated SKUs still auto-renew. Only after 1st of January will we see the expire date.
Regarding the D365 Plan SKUs to D365 Base+Attach SKUs, there's no default upgrade path. The D365 partner of the customer should know which modules the customer uses and should purchase the required Base and Attach modules where applicable.
D365 Plan was a bundle package of both CE and UO modules, so it might be that the customer needs Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, PSA (replaced by PO), Finance, SCM and/or Retail (replaced by Commerce).
Doesn't exactly answer my questions. I have highlighted them in red again.
Will it be an automatic transition to NCE during renewal even if the customer doesn’t decide to move to NCE?
As outlined in the July 2023 Partner Center announcements, starting in January 2024, Microsoft will begin automatic migration of all renewing commercial and public sector customers to new commerce.

In cases where the customer has a Dynamics 365 Plan, is there a default path? How would it work?
If I understand correctly, this was previously on the following post - CSP | Legacy Migration SKU to NCE - Microsoft Community Hub
It doesn't exactly answer the question. It just says partners will need to do it on their own. What if a D365 plan subscription is left without renewal, will it auto transition to D365 Finance?
Also, I do not see these SKUs in the SKU retiring list.
- Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Plan Tier 1 (1-99 users)
- Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Plan Enterprise Edition Tier 1 (1-99 users)
Does it mean there is no action required for these SKUs?

I understand it's been deprecated but the SKUs are not in the list of SKUs. Also what happens if this SKU is not manually renewed? Asking because it shows as auto renew for next yr for a customer.

The problem with this announcement is that based on MS history we don't actually know for sure what is going to happen.
Current SKU's on the Retirement list still reflect an auto-renew date in Partner Center and the last time we were told SKU's wouldn't renew, and Partner Center reflected an expiry date, they auto renewed if no action was taken.
Thanks- Nick_BeacroftOct 30, 2023Steel ContributorI agree past performance from Microsoft on updating subscriptions in Partner Center where offers are deprecated has been poor, and this led to offers like these D365 Plan licenses renewing, when partners should have transitioned customers to the base+attach model.
Microsoft essentially differed responsibility to partners to ensure deprecated subscriptions were transitioned accordingly.
On attending recent Partner Center technical training sessions, there is clearly a more focussed attitude to ensuring deprecated subscription, particularly reference the forced legacy to NCE migration, that subscriptions will be marked as expiring.
