The reason I posted on the existing topic instead of creating a new one is that the answer in the existing topic is incorrect at this point, and it's misleading to anyone who finds it through a web search.

Apr 16, 2024EngineerNumber88923498 A forum/discussion board is meant to keep all posts dated from when they were posted. If you were doing a search on the topic you should be looking for the latest article by post date to find the latest information about it.
We do not remove legacy information as it's important to know how things have changed. We rarely update old posts as we create new announcements to share to make sure everyone that subscribes to the space is aware of changes. I'm sorry you were confused, but you should have the correct information available to you now.

Correct, and I never suggested changing a date.

You didn't have to. In fact, if you'd simply left the comment I originally added to that topic alone, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. If you don't want people commenting on an existing post, you should lock it.
