Pre-commit Pre-sales & DMP activities availability

The 2023 Pre-commit Pre-sales and DMP activities are now activated for the approval process. We have made a few important changes to increase the partner funding opportunity and improve customer engagement and trust.

Activity updates:

• Pilot has been removed.
• Tailored Demo is available for SMC and SMB segments only.

Payout updates: The maximum payout has changed from a cap of $100K per MSX ID to a payout cap by activity. For DMP there is a $5k cap on Standard Assessment and $12k on Advanced Assessment. Payout cap is up to $7K for a Solution Assessment, and up to $12K for all other eligible activity types, including:

• Envisioning Workshop
• Business Value Assessment
• Power Center of Excellence
• Tailored Demo

Nominations that have already been approved for Pre-commit Pre-sales & DMP will not be affected. Nominations pending approval and all future nominations will be processed according to above guidelines.

We anticipate the outlined changes will provide Microsoft partners with increased opportunities to participate in the sales acceleration activities throughout this quarter and fiscal year.
