Power Pages Licensing Question
Hello,
It is our understanding that if a company has Dynamics 365 Enterprise Application that they have "standalone Power Apps portals use rights." What exactly does "standalone Power Apps portals use rights" include? Does that mean they are not required to purchase users specifically for the portal?
Thanks!

Hi JenMac,
What exactly does "standalone Power Apps portals use rights" include?
D365 Enterprise Apps are granted use rights for Power Pages, with exceptions. For details, please review pgs.58 of the D365 LG. In summary:
- The D365 LG confirms that a license is required for restricted tables & users who create, update, or delete data (CRUD) stored within restricted tables. To determine which licenses are required for restricted tables, please review Restricted tables requiring Dynamics 365 licenses.
- Also, when Managed Environments are activated in a specific environment, all Power Apps (as well as Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot Studio, & Power Pages) usage in that environment requires standalone licenses. Licensing - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

I'm not clear on what you mean by "purchaser users for the portal". Would you mind clarifying please?

- JenMacCopper ContributorIf a company has license to D365 Enterprise, do they also need to purchase Authenticated or Anonymous users?

To confirm, you're asking if a licensed D365 Enterprise user has use rights to Power Pages Anonymous users & Power Pages Authenticated users?
If so, it depends on whether the Authentic users are internal or external. The Partner should review the definition of authentic & anonymous users, then reconcile with the licensing documentation. Ex: a D365 Enterprise license is sufficient for internal Authentic users.
