Forced to new purview portal nothing works or is too slow
so what we feared has occured; forced to the new portal and nothing works.
- cannot change roles
- we have roles as they worked in the old portal but new portal doesn't seem to accept the custom roles.
- cannot implement content search across SPO
anyone else having issues?

It was karma the minute they put a mandatory EULA on the new site just to enter, even when the clock was ticking up to the point where we had no choice other than to accept the EULA and use the new site.

I am now having issues with PowerShell when trying to do a purge of a Content Search in the new portal. I have rights and authenticated successfully but this is my output just trying to Get-ComplianceSearch.... I see the search and the completed result set in the portal.

For years we used the old content search to archive terminated users emails via content search, export, and download. Since forced from Classic Ediscovery, I have been unable to get even one mailbox to successfully download. The new portal is clunky and slow and does not work.

I agree 110%. I do the same for terminated users, and the new eDescovery is painfully slow when downloading the export, if it downloads at all. It feels like dialup...

In the last two weeks I uploaded in Old Pureview portal over 170 emails (PST files) from my organization servers to Microsoft 365. In the old portal I had all of them with status "successful" and in the new one they are all with status "failed". What should I do?

everything that hasn't so far worked in the GUI seems to still work via powershell..... however I don't think you have that ability for PST import...
i cannot lie about your chances, but you have my sympathies..

Hello David. Thank you for your detailed response. Let me address your key points:
- The banner on the home page - We understand the frustration as we're trying to serve different personas with different needs. We have a work item to allow for the banner to be collapsable/expandable so it can be moved out of the way.
- Performance of the Explorers. This is super helpful. Let me work with my engineering team who is currently focusing on addressing performance issues and share with them your experience.
I will reach out if we have additional questions about your experiences. Thanks again for giving us an opportunity to understand the pain points and for your patience while we figure out a solution to these issues.
Yup, it's slow and navigation is horrendous. They haven't even removed the toggle on top and still redirect you to the (now retired) old portal if you click it... The Q in Microsoft 365 stands for Quality :)
Best use the Feedback button on the portal and give them a piece of your mind.

Thank you for letting us know. I'm following up with the team regarding the Toggle still showing up after the M365 Compliance Center deprecation. Regarding the navigation, can you please elaborate why it's horrendous? What is it that you cannot find, and can you please let me know which pages are slow? We're investigating performance issues overall right now. Thanks again.

The entire interface is slow. I've been clicking 'Edit Policy' in Purview for 10 minutes and still haven't gotten the window to edit my DLP policy.
