sending scans to e-Mails using MS 365
I have successfully configured Canon printer to send scans to e-mails using MS 365 account. I have noticed that a copy of the scanned document will be sent to the sender account. This function is not convenient as users do not want their scan documents to be seen by others and also do not want to delet copies now and then. Is there any possibility to fix this issue i.e., send scans to e-Mails but not to save a copy of the scaned document to the sender?
Thank you

- If you are using the SMTP client submission method, that's the expected behavior. I'm not aware of any option to toggle this off. You can consider using one of the other methods as detailed here: https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/OfficeDocs-Exchange/blob/public/Exchange/ExchangeOnline/mail-flow-best-practices/how-to-set-up-a-multifunction-device-or-application-to-send-email-using-microsoft-365-or-office-365.md#compare-the-options
