MFA methods
Hi,
recently we activated security defaults in our M365 tenant.
All employees have a business standard license.
All but one can use Authenticator and Phone for Multi Factor Auth.
But one employee working in China can only use Authenticator and has no other options.
What can I do?

Please refer below for the options of security default, for your China user case, may consider conditional access

Ok, this docu says with "security defaults" you can only use "Notification through mobile app".
But why can all other users choose "Text message to phone".
We now have a second user from germany with the same problem. Only Authenticator option.
