Limit Multi-factor Authentication of Text messages only for access to office 365 accounts
Is there a way to Limit Multi-Factor Authentication to Text Messages only for access to office 365 accounts? I noticed that if it fails you are then give the option to call the number and require the user to press # key. I would like to eliminate that option because I am afraid the end user will not hear the message and press the # key. Its not as secure.
You can control which methods are globally available via settings page: https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/usermanagement/mfasettings.aspx
You cannot control it per-user though, if a method is available globally, users can select/use it.
