Inactive Microsoft 365 Business Standard license grants OneDrive?
The screenshots show a Disabled Business Standard subscription and a licence still displayed against the user; that assignment display is not evidence of a continuing paid entitlement. The subscription page already warns that data will be deleted. Microsoft documents subscription cancellation and unlicensed OneDrive enforcement as separate lifecycle processes, so neither the cancellation date nor the visible licence row safely establishes the deletion deadline. Current default unlicensed-account milestones include read-only access after 60 unlicensed days and archiving after 93, with additional retention and billing rules. Those figures should not be treated as a guaranteed grace period for your cancelled subscription. Preserve the files immediately while access works. If the user needs ongoing OneDrive use, restore a qualifying active licence and verify the service plan. Ask Microsoft support to confirm this account’s effective licensing and retention state; do not wait for an additional warning before acting.
