How to create mail flow Rules in Purview? Are they necessary?
- Stewart3Feb 23, 2024Brass ContributorThanks Vasil,
Where is the "DLP policy object" located? (in the Purview landing page)
It's not listed in/under the Left margin Home or Solutions, or under Settings or More resources.- VasilMichevFeb 24, 2024MVPIt's under the DLP "solution": https://compliance.microsoft.com/datalossprevention/policies

Vasil,
Please excuse my late response.
I determined that our (accts@email) user was not listed with our Aliases, but was in Exchange, Manage Mailboxes as a Shared mailbox.
So I removed it from Manage Mailboxes and re-created an Alias, then mail delivery was instantly restored. I already had Mail Rules (under outlook web app settings) to route/deliver certain mail to another users as needed.
I recall that a previous tech support session person had me to create this email account under in Echange Manage Mailboxes and status it as shared, and at the time it worked to accomplish what we were after.
So I didn't have to get into the Purview rules at this time. Thanks.
PS: the Microsoft support engineer that was assigned to me wasn't much help with this whatsoever by the way.
