How do email onmicrosoft domains work to the actual domain?

- Generally speaking, in Exchange you can only send from the primary SMTP address, the one with capital SMTP prefix. So in your case, make sure the address you want to use is set as the primary one.

- Thanks Vasil, this was very helpful. The onmicrosoft was indeed set as the primary SMTP. We've now updated it to the actual address I want and the problem has been resolved. Cheers!
