Exception of type 'Microsoft.Online.BOX.Util.Exceptions.InternalException' was thrown.
when we are trying to edit a users mailbox using the office admin center, we are getting Exception of type 'Microsoft.Online.BOX.Util.Exceptions.InternalException' was thrown. e.g. turning on...
- ok, we found out that some admin tried to make the whole tenant secure by creating roles and editing the current roles.
in EAC, under roles, organization management role was stripped to practically view (like global admin reader role).
after that, sll was ok again
Solution: I had this issue because I was trying to use an alternative domain which I had not completed setting up on Exchange. In my case, I had not entered the new DNS entries with my domain registrar. Once I had done that, the error went away.
