Microsoft Access and Outlook
Hi there,
I have just updated my laptop (with a view for a faster laptop!)
However, Access was working fine and now i can't send emails from access through outlook like before.
I get a message to say a program is trying to send an email message on your behalf. I'm not sure how to get rid of this warning!
Please help.... Thank you in advance

Your new laptop now has "New" Outlook, which no longer supports COM automation--in this case the ability to automate sending emails.
The solutions available include rolling back to "Classic" Outlook, and developing a different approach to automating the sending of emails from Access.https://www.accessforever.org/post/new-outlook-the-situation-in-december-2024
I don't think so George. The OP is getting a message "trying to send an email on your behalf".
That is a Classic Outlook message, and the fix is here.
