Microsoft Access and Outlook
Hi there, I have just updated my laptop (with a view for a faster laptop!) However, Access was working fine and now i can't send emails from access through outlook like before. I get a message...

Your new laptop now has "New" Outlook, which no longer supports COM automation--in this case the ability to automate sending emails.
The solutions available include rolling back to "Classic" Outlook, and developing a different approach to automating the sending of emails from Access.

I don't think so George. The OP is getting a message "trying to send an email on your behalf".
That is a Classic Outlook message, and the fix is here.
