How do you track 1-on-1 meeting notes anywhere in Microsoft Teams?
Hey everyone!
How are you all keeping track of your meeting notes? Are you using the built in meeting features? Are you using a seperate app?
I've noticed most of our employees are just using their Teams chats as a notepad and it doesn't seem very efficient...
We started using a third party app called Teamflect a while back for goals and performance reviews. We later discovered that we could actually embed it into Teams meetings for shared and private meeting notes. So far it has done the job for us overall. You can also create tasks on the spot too which is pretty neat. But we wish it had like a whiteboard functionality too.

We try and stay within the Microsoft Eco System. Things are changing so fast with automation and AI so Teams, OneNote, OneDrive, CoPilot etc. all integrate. For Notes we use MS OneNote (We have MS 365 Business) and it will integrate with Teams but also MS To Do which is their task list app. It also integrates with MS Planner which we use. At first it sounded complicated, but as we stated using these apps, it created a really efficient and effective way of doing business.

So you do not use the Meeting Notes tab in meetings?
My issue is with reoccurring meetings. The meeting notes works great to log things on a daily basis, and adding tasks/action items is easy with the integrated planner. However, it auto creates a new instance for each meeting. To my knowledge there is no way to see all open tasks at once, I must view each meetings individual planner. This is really hard to manage for tasks that take longer than a couple of days.
How do you make it easy to get to OneNote and Planner/Todo from the meetings? Pin to the top as a tab? Right now I am experimenting with a Loop element.
